Week Five: Contemplation of the Final Brief

Friday 27th February 2015

Session Review

Previously before the start of the class session, I browsed through the modules course information and read through the contents of the module outline. I have begun to ponder on what topic I could choose for my interactive storybook since the brief required a topic depicting the history of any subject,

Discussing the history of something will be no issue for me since history is a personal fascination and obsession of mine; However, the only issue I have is choosing something either generic or universally accepted history since some perhaps some members of my class will disagree or may even be insulted with the topic I have chosen. Since I do not want annoyed and whining classmates on my plate I will discus my historical topic with my team member and then with my lecturer.

Nevertheless, for the time being, European history or globally shared history such as World War One and Two is perhaps the best genre to discuss since nobody can disagree with me on history that affects them.  In particular I my first and strongest idea is to discuss the history of medieval knights since I love heraldry and knights and will be easily suitable to create; however, I will have to discuss what facts and topics I can discus since learning organizations like universities and colleges, in general, have adopted political correctness and they modern age attitude.

Week Four: Adobe Flash Vector Actviety

Friday 20th February 2015

Session Review

Today the class and I  begun the lecture with a brief discussion on the difference between vector and bitmap graphics which I was already made aware of in my games design studies previously n college; however, it was useful because it helped to refresh and clarify certain areas they had not discussed in my college lecture on the subject of digital graphics types.

Nevertheless, the lecture continued with a workshop session involving the class and I to either bring our photograph as the homework in week two detailed or find an image in the internet and then use flash's vector drawing tools to draw over the photograph and then transform the image into a vector-based portrait.
